Shani Atias (Hebrew: שני אטיאס, Born: August 21, 1991) is an Israeli model and actress. Shani was born in Haifa, Israel to parents from a Sephardic Jewish background. Her grandparents immigrated to Israel in the 1950's from Ksar es Souk-Errachidia, Morocco. Her maternal grandfather was a rabbi. Both her parents live and work in Haifa, Israel. Her father is an antiques dealer and her mother is a paralegal for a Haifa law firm specializing in medical malpractice.S

She began modeling at the age of 13 and attended high-school in Haifa, with a focus on theater/acting. After high-school she trained for 6 months to be an instructor with the Magal Unit of the Israel Defense Forces until withdrawing due to health concerns. Like her older sister, Israeli actress/model Moran Atias, Shani is an actress/model and starred in the Israeli TV Show, Galis as well as many other projects before and since then. Shani is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles, California.

As pictured above in a Haifa, Israel beach-side t-shirt promotional photo shoot with Archaeology 101 Films (photoraphy by the director, Peter Hagyo-Kovacs), Shani filmed with us during the summer of 2010 when she was 18/19 years old and was featured in our film, Inside Jerusalem: Identity and the Ancient Past, where she played the role of the Madricha ("Tour Guide" in Hebrew), narrator, and presented Jerusalem through her eyes in three different roles: Jewish-Israeli, Arab-Christian, and Muslim.
